Help Invest in BIPOC Design History’s Upcoming Course! 📓

Dear BIPOC Design History Family,As we approach the season of gratitude and giving, we at BIPOC Design History are reaching out to our incredible community with an exciting opportunity to make an impact. This is our second Giving Tuesday Week, and we invite you to be a part of our journey and contribute to the expansion of BIPOC Design History.BIPOC Design History has grown exponentially since its first course produced in 2020, thanks to the unwavering support of individuals like you who believe in the power of diverse design narratives. Our mission to provide an inclusive educational platform is driven by the commitment to amplify BIPOC voices in the world of design.

Now, as we stand at the threshold of even greater possibilities, we need your help to support us in putting together a fourth course based on Native American Design. By December 6th, we are looking to raise $5K. Your support during Giving Tuesday Week will enable us to:

  1. Fund our Next Course: By adding more diverse perspectives and topics to our design history classes, we can create a richer and more comprehensive learning experience for everyone.
  2. Enhance Accessibility: Your contribution will help us invest in technology and resources to reach individuals who may face barriers to education. With these funds, features like color blindness and screen reader compatibility will be added to our website.
  3. Grow our Team: To sustain and expand our initiatives, we plan to hire a part-time staff member dedicated to managing and improving our educational programs.
  4. Funding Scholarships: Your donations will directly fund scholarships, providing financial assistance to aspiring designers from underrepresented backgrounds.

To contribute, simply visit our Donation Page during Giving Tuesday Week. Every dollar makes a difference and brings us one step closer to realizing our vision of a more inclusive design canon.

Your support has been the driving force behind our growth, and we are immensely grateful for the passion and dedication you’ve shown for BIPOC Design History. Together, we can create a lasting legacy that celebrates diversity and promotes equitable representation in design.

Thank you for being an essential part of our community and for considering support during Giving Tuesday Week. Let’s continue building a future where BIPOC voices in design are not only heard but celebrated.

With love,
