Live Class: June 19th 6-7:45pm EST I 5-6:45pm CST | 3-4:45pm PST

In celebration of Juneteenth, we’re offering a FREE class led by the brilliant Colette Gaiter, continuing her impactful lecture from our first BIPOC Design History course, Black Design in America.

This special session will spotlight the revolutionary work of Emory Douglas, Minister of Culture for the Black Panther Party, whose iconic posters serve as tools for activism, community empowerment, and radical change. We’re honored to welcome Colette back as she guides us through a deeper exploration of how design can bear witness to struggle and imagine liberation.

If you can’t attend in real time, don’t worry—you can still sign up and receive the full recording and materials to engage with asynchronously.

Please consider donating to BIPOC Design History to support additional classes and courses. Your support sustains this work and helps us continue offering accessible, community-rooted education that centers BIPOC voices.

This class is available to purchase individually, or at a discounted rate when the course pass is purchased.
